Things that irritate me about others,
Can teach me something about me.
Because if “you spot it, you got it”
It’s probably something I’ve done and didn’t see.
When have I been controlling and inflexible?
Said one thing and another thing done?
When have I lost my temper, been angry?
Or not faced my problems, and run?
When things in another irritate me,
I have to inventory my actions….check out.
Chances are what I see, I have done myself.
That’s how I learn what I am about.
Instead of faulting others and how they act,
MY BEHAVIOR is what I amend,
Becoming the person who I want to be,
Not on them, do my time I spend!
