ANGER can be an ENERGIZER,
If I learn how to MANAGE it.
I can accomplish so many things,
If I THINK first … and don’t pitch a “fit”.
I can wash the car or mow the lawn,
Do the laundry … walk … dust or sweep,
I can work out or … clean out a closet,
That’s how … my sanity … keep.
I don’t have to “act out” … do something stupid,
Raise my voice … yell … or be mean,
There’s other ways to deal with my tension.
Accomplish something … my house will be clean.
Yes, ANGER can be a positive,
A MOTIVATOR …. to find a release,
Take POSITIVE action …. has a catharsis effect,
And the ANGER will subside and soon cease.
It often motivates me to make a decision,
I know that when I’ve had enough,
It energizes me to take action that’s good,
For it makes me internally tough.
